Mike Willdridge
Mike Willdridge studied Graphic Design at Ravensbourne College of Art then worked as a designer, in the printing industry, an officer in the Army and an art teacher, running the art departments of two schools in Kent and Devon. For twelve years he then ran adult art classes from his studio in Devon, but now lives and works as a professional artist in Dorset.
His own work is exclusively two-dimensional (painting and print-making) and has until recently been mostly representational; often working from real life through sketchbook observations. He is increasingly becoming interested in working towards abstraction.
